There’s been a lot of talk by American journalists about how “cheap” the Vancouver Canucks are. Canadiens fans may remember this example of what a classy player Tim Thomas is. Goalies shouldn’t be allowed to crosscheck players. He’s lucky that neither Kostitsyn nor Sedin were seriously injured. To me this a far greater offense than an open ice hit where the other player has his head down. Who would ever expect to get blindsided by a goalie like this. It should be an interesting game tonight. Lets hope everyone comes out alive.
